RETARDING SUPER PLASTICIZERS APPLICATION & FEATURES GEEKAY PLAST-200-M is a new generation Super plasticizer cum retarding admixture which lowers the surface tension of water and makes cement particles hydrophilic, resulting in excellent dispersion as well as controls the setting of concrete, depending on dosage. This increases the workability of concrete without air-entrainment, and also imparts a coating around the aggregates, leading to better cohesion. The uniform dispersion ensures better homogeneity of the mix and nullifies the risk of segregation. The workability offered at a lower water-cement ratio eliminates chances of bleeding COMPOSITION &CONDITIONS 0.4% to 1.2% by weight of cement. Maximum dosage can be increased depending on the required early strength and set retardation, subject to corresponding modifications in the concrete mix.
