APPLICATION & FEATURES: POWERETCH-1022 is a liquid concentrate used caustic etch baths to produce a consistent matte, fine grain etch on aluminum and its alloys. In the etch cycle, the bath builds up with aluminum and other Contaminants which can result in a grainy, coarse finish. The addition of POWERETCH-1022 to the etch bath reduces or nullifies the effect of these contaminants and insures an attractive finish. POWERETCH-1022will not eliminate’ spangling" or "galvanizing" generally caused by the high zinc levels.
